A student-led organization built around real classroom needs
Crayons for Change was founded in 7th grade by Mohammed Mansuri and Avyukth Salver with a simple belief: no student should fall behind because they can't afford a crayon.
It has grown into an education nonprofit with supply drives, free STEM programming, international outreach, and youth business workshops. Today, our leadership team is made up of high school students who organize programs, coordinate volunteers, and work with families and community partners.
Classroom supplies
We collect crayons, notebooks, backpacks, and other school basics, then deliver them through local and international partnerships.
STEM and business learning
Students learn through coding, engineering, mini-business planning, pricing, and presentation instead of passive worksheets.
Community partnerships
Families, schools, businesses, and volunteers help us host drives, run events, and turn registrations into student supplies.

Avyukth co-founded Crayons for Change and helps guide the organization's programs, partnerships, and student outreach as President.
Mohammed Aamish Mansuri
Vice President & Co-Founder
Mohammed co-founded Crayons for Change in 7th grade. As Vice President and webmaster, he supports program planning and manages the organization's online presence.
